Ruto mourns departed KTN news anchor

Nairobi - Deputy President William Ruto has mourned the departed Ahmed Dharwesh describing the late KTN Swahili anchor as brilliant.
Dharwesh, a well known face on Kenyan television and of the KTN news Swahili bulletins died Monday night at his home, according to reports.
The anchor had sat on his couch to put his head down after a long day when he quietly passed on.

He had been long suffering from diabetes.
Ruto offered his condolences to the family of the deceased.
" Dharwesh was a great journalist. He graced our screens with a rare smile that made KTN Leo news even more interesting to watch. RIP," he said in a statement.
Dharwesh will be buried Tuesday in Mombasa.
