Nairobi - DP William Ruto lied about talks taking place at State House, a Jubilee MP has said.
According to the MP from the TNA wing of the Jubilee Coalition who asked not to be named, the talks between President Uhuru Kenyatta, DP Ruto and CORD leaders Raila Odinga and Moses Wetangula took place.
" They took place. What was agreed was a different issue but the leaders met and spoke about IEBC," the MP stated.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria on the other hand stated that the talks were null and void considering the stance taken by the Jubilee Coalition all through.
" Whether talks took place or not, the reality is that there will be no dialogue outside Parliament. I think it is better it remains that way," he stated.
CORD is looking to speak about changes to the IEBC but according to the Jubilee Coalition, there should only be stories about the matter in Parliament.
