Ruto is being misled by brokers, Sonko says

Nairobi - Nairobi Senator, Mike Sonko Mbuvi has accused Deputy President Wiiliam Ruto of falling victim to power brokers' propaganda that he cannot win the Nairobi gubernatorial seat.
Speaking in Kericho during the homecoming of baby Scandy, Sonko said that the brokers had misled Ruto that a Sonko win will make it hard for Ruto to ascend to Presidency in 2022.
"These brokers have misled the Deputy President that if Sonko wins the Nairobi gubernatorial seat, it would be hard for him to ascend to presidency in 2022," said Sonko.

The Nairobi Senator said that he was firmly in Jubilee and would support Uhuru Kenyatta's re-election bid.
There has been controversy in Jubilee after Water and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary, Eugene Wamalwa announced his bid to vie for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat in the 2017 general elections.
Baby Scandy had problem in the eye and was assisted by Sonko to get treatment in India.
