Rumours I'm leaving are untrue, Jubilee leader says

Nairobi - I am happy in the Jubilee Coalition, a Jubilee Coalition
leader has said.
Rachel Shebesh, who is the Nairobi County women
representative, says that she is still firmly in the coalition despite a
prolonged period of silence.
Shebesh, controversial on her day, has been out of the
public limelight for a sustained period in recent months and thus rumours that
she is seeking a way out of politics.
She says though that she is fine and happy where she is.
“I am in Jubilee. That remains the case. Any rumours purporting
different stories must be ignored,” she told News24.
She stated that she would announce her plans for the 2017
polls soon, saying she was working on a plan to do things better than last
“I will announce my plans in the near future for the
upcoming one year. I am still active and ready to support President Uhuru
Kenyatta come the 2017 elections,” she added.
Shebesh is said to be seeking a move to the Nairobi
Senatorial position, as the incumbent Mike Mbuvi Sonko targets the Governor’s
