Revealed: Raila wants Kalonzo, Wetangula out of CORD

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga wants his co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula to run for the presidency in the 2017 general elections.
According to one CORD MP who sought anonymity, Raila wants CORD affiliate parties to field their own presidential candidates as opposed to having one candidate to be the coalition's flagbearer.
The MP claimed that Raila is using Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho to cause tension and confusion in CORD which will finally force Musyoka and Wetangula to bolt out of CORD.
He added that Raila does not want Kalonzo and Wetangula to stay in CORD for reasons best known to him and will do everything possible to force them out.
Speaking in Nakuru on Tuesday, the MP said that Raila has made up his mind to run for the presidency in 2017 and he does not need Kalonzo and Wetangula to do so.
"Wetangula and Kalonzo are not needed in CORD and Raila does not want them to stay as much as they would have wished to. They are being pushed out by force and whether they like it or not they will have to walk out of CORD,” said the MP.
“Joho is being used by Raila to drive Wetangula and Kalonzo out of CORD because Raila does not want to look bad,” he added.
