Nairobi - More members of parliament from the CORD coalition will troop out to the Jubilee coalition as we head to the 2017 general election, a member of parliament has revealed.
According to the MP, a committee of members of Parliament, senators and businessmen has been formed by the Jubilee coalition to mobilize and convince as many CORD MPs to join Jubilee.
The MP who is from Nakuru County and who sought anonymity said they have so far approached 50 opposition MPs who have shown interest in crossing the floor.
Speaking Tuesday in Nakuru town, the legislator said that the committee is penetrating all regions including Nyanza to poach for members from the opposition.

He added that the committee is impressed by the number of defectors and potential defectors from Nyanza and western regions.
“The 2017 game has already began and if our friends think we are joking, then they are misplaced because we are at work and are pulling as many people as we can to join Jubilee. So far, we have 50 MPs and senators from the CORD coalition who have shown interest in joining us and we are ready to receive them,” said the MP.
“As days go by, we shall be seeing more and more people trooping to Jubilee from CORD because they have realized that they belong to Jubilee and no one want to be left out of the next government,” he said.
“We have troops of people from Nyanza and western willing to cross over and join Jubilee and all these are leaders who are telling us that their people are willing to join Jubilee,” he said
