Nairobi - Return stolen National Youth Service NYS money, Jubilee Coalition leaders Aden Duale and Kipchumba Murkomen have been told.
Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto has put the two to task over their alleged involvement in the loss of KES 791 million as stated by Former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru in an affidavit.
The two have denied the said charges.
Ruto though says that the two should admit guilt and return the money to public coffers.
" We should not engage in silly political rhetoric over this matter.
Those named in Waiguru’s affidavit should return the money acquired
fraudulently,” he told News24 on phone.
" They know where they met and what happened. We on the other hand do not need to know. We just want the money returned," he added.
The two Jubilee legislators were mentioned alongside Deputy President
William Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet and Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry
Rotich in Waiguru’s affidavit revealed on Tuesday.
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has already called on the two to resign from their positions as leaders of government in the National Assembly in the wake of the allegations.
