Nairobi - A rebel Jubilee MP has made up with Deputy President William
Ruto after a long time on the sidelines.
Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has officially returned to the
Jubilee fold, saying that he has made up with the DP after talks over the
future of the Jubilee Coalition.
Keter, who attended the funeral of Ruto’s Brother Harrison
Korir’s funeral in Eldoret, said that he was in the Jubilee Coalition to stay.
" I have always maintained that I will support the DP and President Uhuru Kenyatta," he told News24.
He did not reveal the details of his meeting with the DP or what they spoke about but said that he is a big part of the Jubilee Coalition for the future.
" I am at Jubilee. End of story".
Keter, a vociferous presence in Ruto's Rift Valley block will add much needed steel to his team as it prepares to defend the presidency come 2017.
