Raila wants to be Prime Minister, Jubilee MP says

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga wants to return ti the Prime Minister's position, a Jubilee Mp has said.
Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu says that Raila knows he cannot win the 2017 polls and now wants to create tension and return as PM, just like he did in the 2007 polls.
" He did it 10 years ago and wants to do it again in the coming elections," he said.
He called the CORD Coalition's IEBC protests a sham and a shortcut to State House.
" We know why they are on the streets and it is not about IEBC. They want to cause tension so next year they can negotiate for a seat in government," he added.
The standoff between Jubilee and CORD and IEBC is simple. CORD wants IEBC gone, Jubilee wants IEBC removed in Parliament.
Waititu knows that CORD will not accept a Parliamentary route because they fear what will come out of it.
" They do not want a process that goes to Parliament. They want to negotiate outside just like they will say next year," he added.
CORD say that the IEBC currently cannot hold free and fair elections and wants it removed, with a process to do so that is initiated outside Parliament.
