Raila urges Nyamweya, Wario to resign

Nairobi - Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has called on the chairman of Football Kenya Federation, Sam Nyamweya and sports cabinet secretary Hassan Wario to resign following the delay of National team Harambee stars to travel to Cape Verde terming it as laziness and careless among the two.
Raila, who was speaking in Kisumu Sunday said the delay by the National team to travel to Cape Verde contributed to their 2-0 defeat.
Raila said Nyamweya and Wario should answer questions why they did not prepare for the team immediately after amatch in eich Kenya defeat cape verde 2-0 in Nairobi.
The former premier said the two should have been shown the door immediately.
"The two sport bosses should have been shown the door immediately the team took off to Cape Verde. What are they still doing in the office?" wondered Raila.
