Raila to address Kenyans over Uhuru speech

24 November 2015, 14:14 William Korir

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga will address Kenyans over the state of the nation address by President Uhuru Kenyatta which took place Monday.

The CORD leader will react to the address by the President at the Serena Hotel gardens in Nairobi together with other coalition leaders.

" Honourable Raila Odinga and the CORD leadership will hold a media briefing at the Serena Hotel at 2 PM today, November 24, 2015. The Opposition will use this briefing to spell out a response to the anti-corruption measures laid out by President Uhuru Kenyatta yesterday,"  briefing from the CORD media liaison Philip Etale read.

The President took the Monday address as a chance to receive a status report compiled over corruption by a group of aristocrats and senior government officials.

He also made a number of resolutions which will help fight the vice in the country, which he said would help kill off Corruption.

He also called the vice a national disaster and a sin, and placed several checks in place to ensure that Corruption in the country reduces.
