Raila the right man to lead Kenya, MP says

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga is the right man to lead Kenya to glory, an MP has said.
The CORD leader turned 71 on Thursday and is expected by many to lead the coalition in the 2017 General Elections where he will face off with President Uhuru Kenyatta for yet another time in the race to State House.
A recent opinion poll showed that most Kenyans are of the feeling that Odinga should retire from office in the run-up to the elections but according to ODM chairman John Mbadi, that is moot point.

" The Jubilee Coalition has shown that it is unable to lead the country forward and time is here for change," he told News24 on phone.
" The party leader deserves a chance to show what he can do and we are very confident that come the 2017 elections, Kenyans will choose him to lead the country forward," he added.
The Coalition will seek a definitive way of choosing who among its key leaders will vie for the Presidency and Mbadi says that ODM will follow the direction handed to the party come nomination time.
" We are a big family here in CORD and we will sit together and decide what is best for the Coalition and support the one chosen by the partners," he stated.
Currently CORD has four principles, with Wiper Party's Kalonzo Musyoka, Ford Kenya's Moses Wetangula and NARC Kenya's Martha Karua together with Raila all having declared their intention to run for the Presidency.
