Raila spends 200 million on helicopters

Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga has bought two new helicopters for use in 2017 General Election campaigning.
One of the two choppers was in sight over the weekend in the Rift Valley as Raila made his way around Kericho County for a fundraiser.
Another is set to arrive in the country in January.
" He has gone in overdrive in preparation for the elections. There is a real opportunity to win the 2017 elections and he is confident he will be able to crack it," a source at Orange House that did not want to be named told News24.
Raila is seeking to become the CORD candidate for the elections where he will compete for the coalition's ticket with Moses Wetangula and Kalonzo Musyoka.
Having been defeated in the 2013 Elections by President Uhuru Kenyatta, Raila is taking nothing to chance in preparing for 2017.
He is said to have hired a team of experts to take care of his approach to the 2017 elections.
" There is a serious feel about the coming elections. There will be lots to come," the source added.
