Nairobi - CORD leader Raila Odinga has questioned former Devolution CS Anne Waiguru's KES 150 million home in Nairobi.
Waiguru is being probed by investigators over the source of her riches amidst the loss of KES 791 million at the National Youth Service NYS which lies under her ministry.
She was raided by the Police at her home, with officers wowed by the size of her home and Raila has now added to the sense of question about the home.
" You have to ask how she, a civil servant can afford such a prestigious house in such a high ranking neighbourhood on her salary," he said.
He also insisted that the grand corruption at the ministry has blessings from the powers above.
" There was an arrangement. You could see how she was protected by the government and a few individuals from the charges until we caught up with her," he added.
With Waiguru now out of the way, Raila though stated that the fight against corruption would not end there.
" The fight is not over at all. The crusade continues," he added.
Waiguru and other former top ranking officials of the Devolution Ministry and National Youth Service NYS have also been investigated by authorities over the theft.
