Nairobi - Cord leader, Raila Odinga profusely apologized to Senator Moses Wetang’ula for skipping his last weekend’s presidential launch, Kalonzo Musyoka has revealed.
The Wiper leader Thursday said the Cord chief was apologetic to his fellow Co-principal for failing to show up during his big day in Kakamega.
Raila on Saturday failed to turn up at Wetang’ula’s presidential launch in Kakamega, sending tongues wagging as he had promised to be there. The meeting at Muliro gardens turned chaotic later after a teargas canister was lobbed to the dais.

Kalonzo revealed that during the candid meeting, the CORD leader Raila Odinga apologized to Wetang’ula and himself Kalonzo for not showing up.
“During the three hour meeting in Nairobi Raila Odinga explained himself apologized to Wetang’ula for skipping his function.
“It became clear that events conspired in a certain manner that the former prime minister had to leave at the time he left for which he was very very sorry to our brother Wetang’ula and myself,” said Kalonzo, who attended the Kakamega meeting.
