Nairobi - Cord Principal Raila Odinga on Wednesday caused a stir during the burial of former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama when he claimed that the deceased called him after he led a delegation of Maasai to visit President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House and told him that he had not defected to Jubilee.
"He told me that he was in ODM to stay after the State House visit. He said he had not crossed over to Jubilee and we are burying Mzee Ntimama with the flag of our party, ODM," he said amid laughter from the mourners.
Before his death, Ntimama had led a delegation of Maasai to visit President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House and pledged to spearhead his re-election campaign in the 2017 general elections.
