Nairobi - Controversial blogger, Jubilee government's ardent critic and also self-proclaimed ODM supporter Robert Alai has insisted that Raila Odinga should not contest for the country's top job come 2017.
In the recent past, Alai has been pulling punches towards the opposition leader and his party ODM citing many shortcomings in the party that just celebrated its 10 years in Kenya's politics last week in Mombasa.
In one of his posts on Facebook Tuesday, Alai spoke with all authority insisting that Raila should not be on the ballot come 2017.

"I REPEAT: Raila Odinga shouldn't run in 2017. Jubilee has learnt how to beat him or steal his election and manage his tantrums. We (as ODM) must look for leadership elsewhere," reads the post in part.
Alai further hits out at ODM supporters who are against his advice, telling them that he is not a doctor to treat their emotional baggage.
"If that still hurts, shauri yako (it's up to you). My job is to tell you my honest opinion. Your emotions is not something that I can treat," said Alai.
Cord leader Raila Odinga was declared the ODM flagbearer in Mombasa last week as the ODM party marked her 10th anniversary.
