Raila is angry with Jubilee, not Ababu Namwamba

21 July 2016, 13:18 Michael Odhiambo

Busia - Raila is angry with Jubilee, not Ababu Namwamba. In Wednesday's rally in Busia, the opposition leader Raila a.k.a Rao a.k.a Baba a.k.a former prime minister was treated to a rousing welcome despite Ababu Namwamba's resignation as ODM secretary general.

Those escorted Raila were Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and Kakamega counterpart Wycliffe Oparanya to Port Victoria where he held a meeting with party leaders.

While in Ababu's home Budalangi, Raila made at least five stop-over rallies. He reiterated that the 2017 election will be a two horse race between Jubilee and Cord.

He also emphasised on the need to kick out the corrupt Jubilee government and asked ODM supporters to join him in the fight.

Raila also said that Ababu is not a traitor but that his enemy is Jubilee which he is sure to kick it out in 2017.

"Leave Ababu alone. He is a man from our own home. We shall resolve our issues at home," he said.

He also said during his tenure as prime minister, he constructed roads, put up fish cooling stations and ensured security in the region.

Raila is on a tour of western province mainly to stamp his authority in the region since July Monday 18.
