Raila hosts 'Pangani six' MPs for lunch, announces that he has forgiven Kuria

Nairobi - Raila Odinga Tuesday hosted for lunch at a popular Nairobi restaurant seven lawmakers who were recently charged in court over hatespeech.
Among those present at the luncheon hosted by the opposition chief at K’osewe restaurant along Kimathi street were Jubilee MPs Kimani Ngunjiri (Bahati) and Moses Kuria (Gatundu South).
Raila had last week promised to host for a luncheon the Jubilee MPs who were recently arrested over hate-speech charges alongside their opposition colleagues Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama and Junet Mohamed (Suna East ) , Timothy Bosire (Kitutu Masaba), Busia Woman Representative Florence Mutua and her Mombasa counterpart Aisha Jumwa.
Mr Kuria who was arrested for calling for the assassination of the opposition Chief , interestingly sat between him and Senator Moses Wetang’ula.
Mr Ngunjiri was also arrested after he attempted to storm a meeting in Nakuru that was being addressed by Raila. He later uttered words that put him in trouble.
Addressing embers of the public after the lunch, Raila said he had forgiven the two politician from the Jubilee coalition for wronging him.
