Nairobi - Raila Odinga forced me out of ODM, an MP has said.
Masoud Mwahima the Likoni MP says that he has left ODM because of backward policies initiated by Odinga in leading the party.
He states that ODM is a national party but Raila has been running it like a personal vessel, thus his decision to support the Jubilee Coalition.
" The reason we are out of ODM is because of the lack of leadership," he said.
" Kenyans deserve leadership that is straightforward and innovative and Raila does not provide that," he added.
Mwahima said that he would defend his seat come the 2017 elections on a Jubilee ticket.
" I am firmly in Jubilee for the 2017 elections," he continued.
Mwahima was among a group of rebel ODM MPs that have jumped ship to the Jubilee Coalition ahead of the 2017 polls.
