Quit early, CORD MP tells Kalonzo

Nairobi - A CORD MP has told Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka to quit the coalition early and save his political career.
Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambo says that there is still room for Kalonzo to save his political career if he is willing to make the decision to quit CORD for Jubilee.
He says that the new Jubilee Party will provide a platform for Kalonzo to resurrect his dying political career.
" My brother Kalonzo must make the decision to move in order to save his career. He is a highly respected leader from this region and it would be a tragedy to see him come to his nadir," he said.
Kalonzo has been under pressure from Jubilee leaders from the region to quit CORD and join the ruling coalition but he has insisted he will stay in CORD, to the amusement of Mutambo.
" Everyone can see that CORD is gong nowhere and will die a natural death after the 2017 elections. It will be unfortunate to see that happen," he added.
Nairobi Senator Mike Mbuvi Sonko has also openly called on Kalonzo to quit CORD for Jubilee, saying he will be better served in government.
" I urge Kalonzo to move to Jubilee, where he will help the Ukambani people to prosperity as compared to sitting in the opposition doing not much," he said.
Kalonzo has all the way insisted that he will remain a CORD member.
