Punish Kuria, TNA says
14 June 2016, 21:31
Nairobi - TNA had disowned the hate speech utterances made by Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria regarding CORD leader Raila Odinga.
Kuria has been on the receiving end after a video showed him making
pronouncements that have been alleged to amount to or border on hate
He was quoted telling Kenyans that CORD leader Odinga should be assasinated for bringing chaos to the country in the form of the anti IEBC protests.
However, TNA says that the comments are Kuria's and that he must face the law on his own if the comments are found to be true.
TNA Secretary General Onyango Oloo said the statements, if verified to
be true, are quite unfortunate adding that the MPs did not speak on
behalf of the party.
" If found to be true then action has to be taken because we cannot let the country go down such a path," he said.
Kuria as well as other MPs have been arraigned in court to answer to the charges in Nairobi Tuesday.
