Nairobi - Kenyans joined the family of popular comedian Herman Gakobo Kago also known as Prof Hamo who features in the Churchill Show to celebrate the life of his father who was laid to rest on Wednesday.
All and sundry converged at St Peters Catholic Parish Nakuru where they escorted Prof Hamo in giving his late father James Kago Wachira a final sendoff. More than 70 comedians were also in attendance.
The comedians who were led by Daniel 'Churchill' Ndambuki and Jasper Muthomi aka Mc Jessy maintained a happy mood during the service with their hilarious jokes as they paid their last respect.
Prof Hamo's father succumbed to Parkisons, a progressive disease of the nervous system marked by tremor, muscular rigidity, and slow, imprecise movement.
He had been admitted at Nairobi West Hospital but was later discharged only to be readmitted at Mediheal hospital, Nakuru last Wednesday.
His family eulogized him as a loving husband and father who upheld his family with great significance as he was laid to rest in his Wanyororo farm of Bahati, Nakuru County.
