Popular local TV presenter dies in Nairobi

Nairobi - A popular local TV presenter has died after a short illness.
Kenya Broadcasting Corporation KBC's Wilkister Muga died at the Coptic Hospital in Nairobi after a short illness.
Muga was serving as head of radio at the time of her death.
She had previously served as a TV presenter on KBC's Channel one station and had been at the broadcaster over a decade.
" We will miss her. Her presence has adorned KBC's colours for yeas. She was a true servant of this organization and will be missed," KBC MD Waihenya Waithaka told News24 on phone.

At the Coptic Hospital, mourning former workmates and family gathered to pay respects to the late presenter.
" We are sad. She was full of life. A great person. WE will miss her," a friend Mercy Ngari told News24.
Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.
