Politician promises man who dangerously hang on helicopter free ride

Nairobi - A politician from Western region has promised to give Sale Wanjala, who hiked on a moving chopper, a free helicopter ride immediately he is discharged from hospital.

Wanjala shocked the world when he decided to hang onto the moving helicopter that was carrying the body of killed Nairobi businessman Jacob Juma.

A video showing the man hoisting from the chopper went viral on social media with Kanyans nicknaming him as Bungoma’s James Bond.

Politician Moses Nandalwe said Wanjala will get a free chopper ride to any place he wishes.

“The man is our hero, he will attract tourists who want to see the 'Bungoma James Bond', let expose him now he did it to expose himself to the outside world, he can star in international movies if exposed well," the politician said.

“Once he is out of hospital, I will give him a free helicopter ride,” Nandalwe said.
