Policespokesman roughed up by protesting lawyers

Nairobi - Police Spokesman Charles Owino was today roughed up by protesters who were protesting the brutal murder of lawyer Willie Kimani,his client and a taxi driver.
The protesters roughed up Owino after they spotted him on his car along the Kenyatta Avenue and forced him to alight.
On alighting Owino was forced to carry a coffin with the bearing "stop extra-judicial killings" up to Jogoo House and his attempts to address the protesters were met with resistances the protesters poured red paint on him.
The protesters demanded that they be addressed by Inspector of Police Joseph Boinett who was not available as he was in another meeting.
Lawyers all over the country have staged protests to force the police to unravel the mysterious disappearances of the three Kenyans.
