In changes announced Thursday, several key officers have been moved within the city.
Kayole deputy OCPD Eshiphan Gichohi has been moved to the Karen Police Station which in itself has been enhanced into a full station and will bear its own OCPD.
Daniel Chirchir has been named the head of traffic Kilimani Division, Festus Maingi the same in Makadara and Fredrick Simiyu to Langata.
Others affected in the move are Era Ngambi to Mai Mahiu, Mildred Achoki to Kasarani and Lazarus Akello to Kiambu.
The changes were announced by police boss Joseph Boinett.
Police have already stated that they are on high alert during the festive period and that no officer has been allocated leave during this time.
With the Al Shabaab terror group seeking soft targets in and around the country, the highest level of alert has been instituted to curb any sort of threats during the festive period.
