Police snub drugs headed to Tanzania, arrest one medic

Migori - Police officere in Uriri sub county, Migori county have arrested a clinical officer after he was found with stolen drugs.
The suspect had stollen the drugs from Bwire clinic. The suspect only identified as Mr Mogire had claimed he was taking the drugs to the nearby Kamsakaki clinic.
"The facility watchman alerted the authority after becoming suspicious, " said Dalmas Onyango, the county Chief Health Officer.
The drugs were later intercepted in an Tanzania registered vehicle. It is believed they were headed to neighbouring country.
Patients at the facility have always been told to buy drugs from private pharmacies around.
The doctors always claim there are no drugs.
