18 May 2016, 10:03 Victor Tinto

Nairobi - A man who met the slain Jacob Juma a few hours before his death is being questioned by Police.

The man, a banker whose identity has not been revealed met Juma just hours before his death in a hail of bullets along Ngong Road.

The banker, who has admitted to Police that he was meeting Juma for the first time says that they were on a business meeting.

Police have not divulged further details of the man and where the meeting was held.

" This man has cooperated from start to finish," a CID officer attached to the case told News24. He has given us details we want and we will keep him in touch," the officer added.

Juma, a fierce anti government campaigner was killed as he headed home by a group of gunmen who it is thought are well trained.

He was buried in Bungoma over the weekend.
