Peter Kenneth Jubilee talk continues

Nairobi - Join the Jubilee Coalition and forget about CORD, MPs have told Peter Kenneth.
The former Gatanga MP is looking for a new home as he will not contest the Presidency in the 2017 elections, he has himself said.
His main aim is to prepare for the 2022 edition.
And thus to have him on one of the major coalitions for the coming polls is now the new point of contention.
Which is where Jubilee and CORD come in.
CORD leader Raila Odinga is said to be privately considering Kenneth as a running mate thanks to the fact that he is eyeing a bit of the Kikuyu vote while for Jubilee, any support will be good.
Over the weekend, Kenneth attended the funeral of former First Lady Lucy Kibaki in Othaya where Jubilee MPs are said to have urged him to join the coalition.
" Kenneth is a friend of development which is what Jubilee stands for," Starehe MP Maina Kamanda told News24.
" Everyone knows what Jubilee is about and they know what we stand for," he added.
Kenneth has not as yet made his feelings about the 2017 elections known which leaves room for speculation high over where he will end up.
After meeting President Uhuru Kenyatta in Gatanga earlier in the year, he denied the talks were political and that they were about how to develop the region.
