Nairobi - Pay for Muliro Gardens damage, CORD leader Moses Wetang'ula has been told.
Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Oparanya says that since Wetang'ula's FORD Kenya party had booked the grounds, they are the ones that should pay for the damage caused.
" The damage caused must be paid for by the party that oversaw the damage," Oparanya told News24.
The damage took place when rowdy youths clashed during the FORD Kenya leader's Presidential bid launch.
It was initially estimated that the costs would hit KES 3 million but a County Committee is yet to come up with recommendations on the matter.
Wetang'ula blamed the melee on forces within Oparanya's camp.
