Panic, tension as hate leaflets are dropped in Nakuru

Nakurur - Police in Nakuru county are investigating hate leaflets which were dropped in parts of Nakuru and Naivasha CBD's on Monday warning a member of certain community to Leave the towns.
Tension was high in Nakuru on Monday after the hate leaflets were dropped in estates populated by members of the targeted community.
Police are investigating the source of the leaflets which warned members of that community to leave Nakuru, Naivasha and Kericho immediately.
The hate leaflets were found within the CBD by county workers who were sweeping the streets.
Nakuru county Administration police Commander Francis Kirathe said that investigations have been started to establish the source of leaflets.
“We are on it and we are after those war mongers who are out to cause panic in the county.They are out to cause chaos but we will not allow them,"he said.
