Nairobi - Meru politics is not for you. Keep off it, Meru Governor Peter Munya says.
Munya has asked Devolution Cabinet Secretary Mwangi Kiunjuri to keep off Meru politics.
He asked the CS to concentrate on politics at his home Laikipia County.
He labelled the CS a political misfit and loser.
“If the CS lost Laikipia East parliamentary seat on the Grand National Union (GNU) party in the last general elections, will he really manage to influence even Laikipia County politics?” questioned Munya.
Munya told President Uhuru Kenyatta to kindly deal with the CS.
" The President must deal with CS' who are not concentrating on their jobs and instead meddling in national politics," he added.
Kiunjuri had recently visited Meru and asked residents to vote out Munya for disowning the Jubilee Party.
Munya has chosen to give the new party a wide berth and instead run on his own party ticket.
