Only Ruto will gain from Jubilee Party, unhappy Munya says

Nairobi - Jubilee Party has been created to help DP William Ruto rise to power in 2022 and not consider others, Meru Governor Peter Munya has accused.
The Governor, in stating his disapproval of the party, insisted that there would be opposition to it and that there would be a new Mt Kenya party formed to counter the Jubilee Party.
" The new party is only there to help the DP ascend to power which is wrong," he told News24 on phone.
Despite Meru Senator Kiraitu Murungi backing the new party, Munya insists that it will be a hard sell come crunch time.
" That party is not for the people of this region. We have been left out in an effort to help a few people benefit," he added.
The new party will see all current Jubilee Coalition members join in ahead of the 2017 elections.
The party will hoist President Uhuru Kenyatta as its flag bearer and will see Ruto get the honour come 2022.
It has received mixed reviews, with some for it and a good number against it too. Some feel it will be regressive while others feel it will unite Kenyans.
