ODM Vice Chairman resigns

Nairobi - ODM Vice Chairman and Funyula MP Paul Otuoma has quit.
" There is no need for me to be a vice chairman if what I say is undermined," he told News24 on phone of his decision.
He stated that his continued undermining by the ODM hierarchy had made him unhappy and that quitting was the only thing he could do to wipe off his frustration.
"I cannot speak as a vice chairman yet not be taken seriously. I am almost 50 years old and I have suffered so much as a person and as Vice Chair," he added.
Otuoma said he will officially present his notice of resignation at the party's Orange House headquarters next week.
He will however remain a member of the party.
" I am still in ODM but things have to change soon," he added.
He and Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba have been complaining of being sidelined by the party on a number of occasions and have stated their desire to quit and move to another vessel.
