Nairobi - ODM will kick 2 MPs out of the party.
ODM chairman John Mbadi told News24 that the two, Sirisia MP John Waluke and Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba had refused to cooperate with the party and were now considered expelable.
He said that efforts to reach the two had bourne no fruit and that the only logical thing to do was to seek their expulsion.
" They have been away for a long time and have absconded from their party duties leaving us with no other choice than expelling them," Mbadi stated in Nairobi Monday.
He said that Ababu, who has been the party's secretary general had not been to the Orange House headquarters in ages and that Waluke had openly abused the party leadership.
" Such behaviour is like that of a wife looking for a way out of a marriage. The signs are clear and we will heed them," he added.
Ababu has said that he is seeking to join a new party created for Luhyas by Luhyas while Waluke has been linked to the Jubilee Coalition.
