ODM Senator denies quitting party for Jubilee

Nairobi - An ODM Senator says that he is still a part of the party despite rumours that he has quit for the Jubilee Coalition.
Taita Taveta Senator Dan Mwazo says that he is not going anywhere and that he is a part of the party for the long run.
Mwazo has been absent for key ODM events in recent times and has been thought to have changed allegiance to the ruling coalition.
However, he has told News24 that he is in ODM.
" I am a member of ODM. Anyone saying different should be ignored," he stated.
He did not however commit himself to being available for the visit to the Coast by ODM leader Raila Odinga starting Wednesday.
" What matters is that we need to build unity in the region and seek development. That is vital for the nation," he added.
Raila is set to be at the Coast to meet political leaders from Wednesday as he aims to counter the gains made by the Jubilee Coalition in the region.
