ODM orders MCA's to join IEBC protests

Nairobi - MCA's belonging to ODM have been threatened to help plan countrywide protests against IEBC, some have said.
The protests will take place every week until the composition of the IEBC is fully changed, CORD leader Raila Odinga has said.
MCA's though, who can mobilize crowds on the ground are thus being depended upon to deliver numbers.
They have been told to take it as an order and not a choice.
" The protests against IEBC will hinge on MCA's and their influence and the party has communicated to them that they need to take part," a source at Orange House the ODM headquarters told News24.
An MCA who spoke to News24 stated that there were indeed calls from party headquarters to support the protests.
" They have come. We are ready," the MCA stated.
CORD is seeking to have the IEBC disbanded and a new electoral commission created to enact the 2017 General Elections.
