Nairobi - ODM MPs want me out of CORD, FORD Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula has said.
Wetang'ula has accused the MPs of trying to create a rift between him, Raila and Kalonzo Musyoka. He added that the assertions by the MPs were irregular and meant to be mischievous.
He called on Raila to discipline ODM MPs' intent on causing trouble.
" I ask my brother Raila to rein in on MPs who are speaking badly of other political parties. We are here because we need each other," he said.
But ODM, through Busia Women Rep Florence Mutua was having none of it.
" We have been very supportive to our partners so it amazes us that they
can say this about our party leader. Kibaki Tosha was the last
endorsement (Raila) did and we are not expecting any other from him
because he is our presidential candidate," she said.
The call for leaders to support each other in the CORD Coalition has been ongoing for a while now with leaders asking each other to support their respective Presidential bids.
