ODM MP's to decamp to Jubilee at State House

Nairobi - ODM MP's will announce their allegiance to the Jubilee Coalition at State House Mombasa.
The MP's, eight in number have in recent months been going against their primary caolition, CORD ans have pledged their allegiance to the ruling coalition.
With President Uhuru Kenyatta now in Mombasa for a three day visit, they will meet him to announce their move to him and Kenyans.
" We will be at State House to meet the President and inform him of what plans we have to ensure the Coast is a Jubilee zone," Kilifi North MP Gideon Mung'aro told News24 on phone.
The President will be primarily hosting a tourism conference at State House Mombasa for the three days.
It is not clear which other MPs will follow Mung'aro to State House but it is expected that they will include well known leaders that have openly gone against the CORD Coalition and Raila Odinga.
Mung'aro added that he would not sink in the ODM ship that is bound to fail in the coming election.
" We cannot all drown in one boat. Some of us must move elsewhere," he added.
CORD leader Raila Odinga is said to be planning a new assault on the Coastal region once President Kenyatta's tour is over.
