ODM MP tells Raila to stop threatening him

Nairobi - An ODM MP has told party leader Raila Odinga to stop threatening him.
Richard Onyonka the Kitutu Chache MP says that the threats by Raila to kick him out of ODM if he continues with his clamour for a Gusii party will not take him anywhere.
He accused the CORD leader of trying to use tactics that are meant to kill the move by the Gusii community to form a united front saying that it will fail.
" I am not afraid of what Raila will say. I am fighting for Kisii unity," he told News24.
He argued that the only way for the community to reap benefits of the current political climate was to be together in thinking.
" We are together. We have to be together both in thinking and in our political ideology," he added.
Raila has threatened those leaders seeking to move from ODM to do so and leave the party in peace.
However, Gusii leaders have insisted that the move to leave ODM is not divisive but inevitable and that it will take place whether Raila likes it or not.
Kisii Senator Chris Obure is another of the leaders seeking the so called Kisii unity.
