ODM MP decamps to Jubilee, blames Raila

Nairobi - An ODM MP has decamped to the ruling Jubilee Coalition and blamed party leader Raila Odinga for poor leadership causing his decision.
Samuel Arama of Nakuru West announced Tuesday that he had shifted goalposts and that he was firmly a part of the Jubilee Coalition.
" I can confirm that I am now working with and for the Jubilee Coalition and intend to vie for the 2017 polls under a Jubilee Parry ticket," he told News24 on phone.
Arama has already in the past stated that he is tired of ODM and that he is looking for a new party and challenge but the announcement will nonetheless come as a shock to the Orange Party.
He accused Rails of leading ODM and CORD in the wrong direction.
" ODM and CORD are lacking in direction as well as discipline and that is all thanks to Raila," he added.
If he does indeed join Jubilee, it will open the door for a bitter election come 2017 with many of his current CORD supporters.
