Kisumu - Nyando MP Fred Outa has been arrested over incitement.
His arrest came following a night of unrest at Ahero Girls as students over the interdiction of their Principal, Sister Sarah Adiko over misappropriation of school funds.
According to sources, the ODM MP stormed the school demanding an audit of school accounts and incited the students to protest.
Outa, has however distanced himself from the chaos saying he went to the school to intervene after he was informed about the ongoing protests.
"The protests started at 7pm. I got there at 8pm to intervene only to be arrested."
The school has been closed indefinitely and students sent home.
