Nairobi - Two members of parliament from Nakuru County have been accused for doctoring the list of delegates for the new jubilee party.
Nakuru based political activist Hezron Manyara has accused Bahati member of parliament Kimani Ngunjiri and his Nakuru west counterpart Samwel Arama of secretly drafting a list of delegates from Nakuru county without involving party members.
Manyara claimed that the two members of parliament have already submitted a delegates list to the party headquarters in Nairobi and warned that Jubilee members in Nakuru County will not allow an ODM member of parliament to interfere with jubilee party affairs.
“We as jubilee members from Nakuru County will not allow two individuals to seat in a hotel somewhere and draft a list of delegates without involving party members and we as members will reject this move through all avenues,” said Manyara
He accused Arama for submitting names of outsiders as jubilee party delegates despite the fact that he is an ODM member of parliament.
“How can an ODM member of parliament purport to be in jubilee when he hasn’t officially decamped from ODM and how can he go to an extend of drafting the list of delegates for a party he is not a member of?” he posed.
There is a big division among jubilee party members within Nakuru County with various camps claiming to be in charge of drafting the list of delegates who will be sent to Nairobi for the official launch of the party.
