Nairobi - ODM leaders will meet to discuss the conduct of Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba and seek to ensure that they are unified ahead of the 2017 General Elections.
The leaders, Sospeter Ojamong and Paul Otuoma say that they are willing to meet Ababu and thrash out a solution for the way forward in the party come the 2017 polls.
According to Otuoma, Ababu is a key part of ODM and that he being ready for action is vital for the party.
" We need Ababu and we need all the leaders in the region to come together and seek a united front ahead of the 2017 elections," he stated.
Ababu has been rumoured to be unhappy at ODM and has been missing a number of key party and coalition projects in recent times as a result.
" Ababu is ODM and will remain ODM, " Busia Governor Sospeter Ojamong said. We are happy with him and to have him and we will continue to work with the aim of improving our relations as well as the prospects of the party ahead of the 2017 elections," he added.
Ababu is currently the ODM Secretary General.
