ODM: Jubilee paid for the recent opinion poll
25 December 2015, 10:37
Nakuru - The Orange Democratic party (ODM) has dismissed the recent opinion poll by the Ipsos Synovate as the work of State House operatives.
ODM Nakuru branch chairman, Daniel Ambale said State House financed the opinion poll which claimed that majority of Kenyans want CORD leader Raila Odinga to retire from active politics.
Speaking Thursday at party offices in Nakuru town, Ambale said the opinion poll was baseless because Synovate only interviewed people from President Kenyatta's stronghold.

"How can they interview people from Jubilee strongholds and expect them to give a favourable comment about our party leader?" he posed.
"We know that State House propagandists paid for the opinion poll as part of their on going strategy to discredit Raila ahead of 2017," he added.
Ambale said that Raila is still strong and will be in the 2017 presidential race because he will win.
"Let them be told that Raila will not only be in the 2017 race, but will also be winning the race."
