ODM bans Wetangula from Nairobi

Nairobi - ODM has banned Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula from political interest in Nairobi County.
Branch chair George Aladwa says that there are enough Luhya men to compete for the top seat in the city and that at present also, all effort has been put into ensuring that incumbent Evans Kidero returns as Governor.
He added that Wetang'ula must concentrate on the Presidency.
" Wetang'ula is very much respected by us but we want him to remain in Nairobi. That is what we are looking at and believe should happen," he stated.
There has been talk that Wetangula will run for the top seat in the city but Aladwa says that it is a non starter.
" Those stories are not helpful to the party and coalition and we want them to end right away," he added.
Wetang'ula has yet to comment on the stories.
