Ntimama's daughter calls Raila a liar

26 September 2016, 12:25

Narok - The late former Cabinet Minister William Ole Ntimama’s daughter has accused Cord Co principal Raila Odinga of lying that he was called by her father after his State House visit.

Leah Ntimama condemned former Prime Minister for hoodwinking the public, adding it was unfortunate he made allegations that cannot be refuted by the dead.

“Why can you lie on the dead who cannot respond to allegations? Why lie in anticipation you will get Maa vote or sympathy? Mzee showed us the way in Jubilee and his word stands,” she said.

Raila made the sentiments during the burial of the late Ntimama in Narok.

Ms Ntimama who is eyeing Narok Women Representative seat also defended the government on allegations that there are two hands in Jubilee, with one suppressing the Maa community.

She said that the Maasai community has benefited a lot from the Jubilee government and thus nothing would deter them from supporting the government of the day.

She called on the Maasai community to firmly remain in government in order to reap great even after the 2017 general elections.

Ms Ntimama vowed to face Raila when he visits Narok County next week to tell him off as far as his sentiments on “the phone call by his late father” are concerned.
