Nairobi - Former Minister, William Ole Ntimama has quit the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and joined Jubilee Party.
Ntimama announced the decision on Tuesday after he led a delegation of Maasai from Narok and Laikipia counties to meet President Uhuru Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi.
"As an elder, I want to guide my community to prosperity and I want them to be part of this government," he said.

The former Narok North MP said that they did so after consulting widely with the elders from the Maa community.
Ntimama's move is a big blow to Cord leader Raila Odinga as it comes after the MPs from the Western Kenya region quit the orange party.
