No one can touch Kuria, Jubilee MP says

Nairobi - Efforts to jail Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria over hate speech are a waste of time, a Jubilee MP says.
Kuria, who is under-fire over comments attributed to him calling for the killing of CORD leader Raila Odinga has been taken in for questioning by the CID over the comments.
However, a Jubilee MP believes that the arrest is only there to mask the fact that Kuria is more or less untouchable.
The Central Kenya MP, who asked not to be named thanks to the veracity of the comments says that Kuria is a favourite of President Uhuru Kenyatta's and that no one will touch him.
" No one can touch Kuria whether they like it or not because he is a favourite of the President," the MP complained to News24.
The MP insisted that Kuria's comments are uncalled for and that he must be punished but that it will never happen.
" He must be punished for his comments but I can bet you that he will not. It is not the first time he has been in court. You wait and see," the MP added.
Kuria wrote a statement at the CID headquarters in Nairobi Monday and it remains to be seen what action Police will take over the matter.
